Aim and Scope
Editorial board

Infection control was launched in December 2023 (ISSN 2095-9753, CN 10-1890/R). The journal focuses on innovative and cutting-edge topics in the field of international infection control, aiming to promote academic exchange and research advancement. The official website of the journal is http://www.infectioncontrol.org.cn/.
Infection control is sponsored by the National Health Commission of China, supervised by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and co-organized by Beijing Youan Hospital, Capital Medical University. The journal is published quarterly. It has been successfully included in the "China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan" as a tiered journal, reflecting its academic influence and professional standards. The editorial board, led by Editor-in-Chief Academician Songling Wang, comprises 90 renowned experts and scholars from both domestic and international institutions. Since 2025, Infection Control has been officially indexed by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wanfang Database, providing a convenient academic resource platform for researchers worldwide.


Infection control is a peer-reviewed open access journal publishing the latest results of clinical science, epidemiology studies and basic medicine involving all sorts of infection. Infection control is committed to promote scientific communications on infections. With the short-term objectives, Infection control records the scientific progression, problems, and future perspective for infectious diseases. For a broad term, it is designed to collect the latest findings of clinical science, epidemiology studies and basic medicine involving a full spectrum of diseases related to infection.
